Home hardware & fixtures: PVD Coating Stainless Steel, Copper, Bronze, Chrome & More
VaporTech® PVD systems coat faucets, showerheads, doorknobs, and other home hardware products around the world. Our smaller, budget-friendly PVD coating systems mean even smaller manufacturers can benefit from fixture finishing in-house to improve quality control, save time, and coat for pennies per part. VaporTech coatings are less than 1/100th the thickness of a human hair, keeping product features intact.
Benefits Of PVD Fixture Finishes
Home hardware, including kitchen & bath fixtures as well as door and window hardware, come in a wide array of materials, colors, and geometries, making PVD coating a great choice for manufacturers of these products. Vapor Technologies, Inc. R&D scientists offer 20 standard colors and create custom coatings for use in our VaporTech® systems or match the exact decorative finish desired (or match legacy finishes). Colors can include stainless steel, copper, bronzes, chrome, golds (including rose gold), black, and even blues. We can even produce the latest black PVD coatings as well as a safer chrome alternative. Whether you’re coating door hardware or plumbing products, our PVD thin film deposition along with our PVD coating equipment can make your home fixtures stand out and provide a higher return-on-investment (ROI).
VT Decorative™ finishes are scratch and wear resistant, defy corrosion, and are so thin—less than 1 micron—they are suitable for high-tolerance parts. Our systems can deposit finishes that are up to 3 times harder than plated chrome on your faucets, showerheads, doorknobs, door locks, product components, and other home fixtures. The PVD finish will make your stainless-steel sink or chrome shower faucet long-lasting and beautiful.
